Han Kun Law Offices and its Hong Kong associated law firm, as PRC and Hong Kong legal advisors, represented Shanghai Conant Optical Co., Ltd. (“Conant Optical”, Stock Code: 2276, together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) in connection with its initial public offering in Hong Kong and Regulation S offering of an aggregate of 121,600,000 H shares, and the listing of such H shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. All the existing domestic shares issued before the listing would be converted into H shares through “H shares full circulation”.  Guotai Junan Capital Limited acted as sole sponsor.

Conant Optical is a leading resin spectacle lens manufacturer in the PRC. The Group offers a wide range of resin spectacle lenses to its customers including standardised lenses and customised lenses with sales to over 80 countries during the track record period. The Group ranked the first among resin lens manufacturers in the PRC in terms of production volume of resin spectacle lens manufacturing in 2020. The Group was also the largest exporter in the PRC in terms of resin spectacle lens export value in 2020 and the only group with its headquarter based in the PRC among the top ten global market players.
